The University of
Arkansas at Monticello
men’s basketball team
suffered a 58-79 loss to
Arkansas Tech Thursday
evening in Gulf South
Conference action.
With the loss, ATU
(19-7, 9-4 GSC) takes
sole possession of third
place in the GSC West
Division, while UAM
(18-8, 7-6 GSC) drops to
fourth place.
Individually for UAM,
junior Derek Easter led
the team with 14 points,
followed by junior James
Early and senior Deron
Brown with 10 points
each.
The Wonder Boys were led
by a game-high 15 points
from Chad Henderson.
Thiago Cordeiro scored
14, followed by Dusan
Radivojevic’s 11 points.
UAM wraps up its regular
season schedule with a
GSC contest against
Southern Arkansas at
home on Saturday,
February 28. Tip-off is
scheduled for 4 p.m. The
game marks the last home
contest for UAM’s five
seniors – Deron Brown,
Raymond Wright, Don
Riley, Antwain Cosey and
Bernard Seymour. A
special presentation in
their honor will occur
shortly after the
women’s game.
