CITY, Mo. –
The
University of Arkansas at Monticello
men’s basketball team has dropped out of
the NABC Division II Top 25, but still
received one vote this week’s poll.
The drop-out ends a streak of nine
consecutive weeks for the team to be
ranked in the Top 25. UAM climbed to as
high as No. 5. Last week, the team was
ranked No. 22 before falling to then No.
10 Christian Brothers 51-43 on the road
last Thursday.
Christian Brothers climbed to No. 8 in
this week’s poll and is the lone
representative of the Gulf South
Conference. Delta State was the only
other league school to garner votes. The
Statesmen have seven votes this week.
