The
University of Arkansas at Monticello
men’s golf team finished sixth at the
2009 Arkansas-Fort Smith Classic,
highlighted by the ninth place
individual finish of Devin DeBray.
DeBray led the team with a first round
score of 76 and second round score of
81, tying him for ninth place with an
overall score of 157, just one stroke
behind the eighth place finisher.
Camron Hurst also finished in the Top 20
with scores of 81 in the first round and
79 in the second round for an overall
score of 160, giving him a tie for 17th
place.
Arkansas-Fort Smith’s Ethan Adamson
helped his team take the crown with an
overall score of 142, including a
tournament-best single-round score of 70
on the first day. UAFS as a team
finished with an overall score of 602,
seven strokes ahead of the second place
finisher, Seminole State College.
