Victory Bell

It’s a tradition after a UAM home victory for the football team and fans to exit the southwest gate at Convoy Leslie-Cotton Boll Stadium, cross the street and gather around the Victory Bell, where the Boll Weevil captains ring the bell. The tradition was dormant for a while in the mid-1990’s, but when Clarence Holley became head coach in 1999, the tradition returned.
