UAM Second Annual International Film Festival

Film Festival Invitation

  • Award-winning International movies will be shown, such as the five Academy Awards winning masterpiece The Artist.
  • Talks by well-known international film experts, Dr. Pedro Lopes, from Henderson State University, Jennifer Lefevre, from The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences & the Arts and Russ Chace from Southern Arkansas University.
  • International cuisine and beverages prepared by Les maîtres cuisiniers de UAM.
  • Live music from our glorious Jazz Band
  • Contests to win DVDs.

Viewers’ discretion is advised.

With such an initiative, the objectives of the School of Arts and Humanities is to ignite its Modern program and encourage cultural awareness in the UAM community and its surrounding area by offering them the opportunity to discover International cinema, both past and present, as International films are seldom shown in the country via the commercial circuits.
