*Summer Session adult education classes are generally July through mid-August. See adult education personnel for exact dates. Instructors for the Adult Education Program are licensed teachers, and several instructors are certified to screen students for learning and vision problems. All screening is strictly confidential and will not be shared nor referrals made without the written permission of the student. There is no specific attendance policy for adult education classes. Students may attend classes based upon their needs and preferences. The only exceptions to this attendance policy are those students who are below the age of 18 and have been referred to the Adult Education Program by a public school, court, or other qualifying agency. Such referred students must agree in writing that they will abide by specific attendance guidelines or they will be dropped from the program.
