GRE

The Graduate Record Exam is a national test required for entrance into many graduate programs. The General Exam measures abilities developed and skills acquired over a long period of time. Subject Tests measure achievement in a particular field and assume an undergraduate major or extensive background in the specific subject.

The GRE General Exam will only be offered as a computer-based test and will no longer be administered as a paper-and-pencil exam. UAM no longer administers the GRE exam.
