Anyone taking a correspondence or
online course from another institution may have tests for the course
administered under the supervision of the University Arkansas at
Monticello Counseling & Testing Services Office. All
students enrolled at U.A.M. who pursue correspondence work must have
prior approval of their academic advisor, academic unit head, and
the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
The application for
approval is available in the U.A.M. Registrar’s Office. You should
verify with your sponsoring institution that UAM is authorized to
supervise your examinations. We administer the tests according to
their instructions and return the completed tests to the sponsoring
institution. It is the student’s responsibility to meet the
deadlines proposed by the sponsoring institution.
Cost:
A fee of $20.00 is paid to the
UAM Cashier's Office prior to testing. The fee covers the costs
for one entire course (up to four exams) and postage.
Availability:
Testing is offered on an as
needed basis. It is the student’s responsibility to register
with the Counseling &Testing Services Office to take a
correspondence or online test. The time and date of testing
must be scheduled in advance.
