University Apartment Billing

RENTAL POLICY FOR RETURNING UNIVERSITY APARTMENT RESIDENTS:
Eligibility to reserve a University Apartment for 12 months requires year-round rental payment.  A student choosing not to pay rent for both the Summer I and Summer II terms, must vacate his/her assigned apartment, forfeits the right to retain a University Apartment for the upcoming fall semester, and is automatically placed at the end of the University Apartments' waiting list.

Summer I 2010 Housing Bill:

Students will be billed for June Rent = $400

Summer II 2010 Housing Bill:

Students will be billed for July ($425) and August ($425) Rent = $850

Fall 2010 Housing Bill:

Students who move in during the Month of August:
Bills are pro-rated for the month of August.
Plus students will be billed for the month of September ($425)
October ($425), November ($425), and December ($425)
Approx total = August pro-rated amt + $1,700

Students who lived in the Apartments for Summer II:
Students were already billed for July and August Rent during Summer II.
Students will be billed for the month of September ($425)
October ($425), November ($425), and December ($425)
Approx total = $1,700

NOTE:  (Lease agreements for Fall end December 31.  Students who check out before December 31 will not receive a pro-rated bill for December.)

Spring 2011 Housing Bill:

Students who move in during the Month of January:
Bills are pro-rated for the month of January.
Plus students will be billed for the month of February ($425),
March ($425), April ($425), and May ($425)
Approx total = January pro-rated amt + $1,700

Students who lived in the Apartments for Fall:
Students will be billed for January ($425), February ($425),
March ($425), April ($425), and May ($425)
Approx total = $2,125

NOTE:  (Lease agreements for Spring end May 31.  Students who check out before May 31 will not receive a pro-rated bill for May.)
