Who May Use Campus Rec Facilities?

Eligible Users

1. Currently enrolled UAM students, current faculty & staff and professors emeritus.
2. Spouse and dependent family members  aged 16 and older of current faculty & staff. Exception: No one under the age of 18 is allowed in the free weight room.
3. Dependent family members aged 5 - 15 of current faculty & staff must be accompanied by parent at all times. No other children are permitted in the UC Rec Areas.
4. Exercise Center Community membership allows access to the Racquetball Courts but NOT the UC Gym or Free Weight Room.

 ID Cards? 

Current UAM ID card must be presented to use facilities.  Current Exercise Center Community Membership ID card must be presented to use the Racquetball Courts or enter the Exercise Center.

Spouse and dependent family members of current faculty & staff aged 16 and older may obtain a UAM ID card by following these steps.

1. Complete a Dependent Verification Form in the UAM Personnel office. Upon authorization, an identification number will be entered into the data base system.
2. Pay a $5.00 ID card fee at the Cashier’s office.
3. Take receipt to office of Residence Life. ID picture will be taken and ID printed.

Use Fees?

Free to current UAM students, faculty & staff. Non-University persons over the age of 18 may purchase a membership in the Exercise Center which allows access to the UC Rec Racquetball Courts in addition to the Exercise Center.
