Qualifications
Student Support
Services (SSS) has many beneficial services to offer its participants.
It is very difficult to not want to apply to the program! To apply, you
can visit the SSS offices and complete an application or print an
application from the link below. We are located in Harris Hall, Room
219.
Because SSS is a
federally funded program, and there are a limited number of participants
who can be served, an applicant must meet the following qualification
criteria:
Eligibility Requirements:
UAM
undergraduate students must meet at least one of the following federal
criteria to receive services:
1. Students
must be a first generation college student. This means that neither of
the student’s parents/guardians has earned a 4-year baccalaureate
degree.

2. Students
must have a taxable income or family income that meets federal
guidelines and the student is currently receiving federal financial aid
assistance.
(OR)
Students must have a documented physical or learning disability
with Special Student Services.
