Career Assessment

Resume writing, mock interviews, career decision-making, job searching and career assessment interpretation are a few of the many topics that can be covered in a career counseling session. Career counseling is available to any UAM student or alumni.

Various career assessments exist to assist students in career decision-making. The Office of Career Services administers the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Self Directed Search to help you assess your interests, skills and personality type and will let you know which careers may be a match for you. Focus, a self-paced, computerized career assessment and guidance program is also available to students.
