A comprehensive major or a major of at least 30 hours and a minor of at least 24 hours.  Students planning to teach must complete the Professional Education core, which may be substituted for the 24-hour subject matter minor.

 

Eighteen hours of science and/or mathematics, or the professional education sequence.  A science and/or mathematics course is defines as any course, which can be used to fulfill the mathematics and natural sciences requirements for General Education.  Up to three hours of Computer Information Systems or Computer Science courses may be applied to satisfy this requirement.

 

These requirements work in conjunction with the requirements for a degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology and Social Work.
