Each fall semester, the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences holds an afternoon workshop for students interested in pursuing graduate studies or law school. Professors from each academic discipline provide students with important insights and information concerning the following:

1. choosing a school
2. the application process
3. studying for the GRE or the LSAT tests
4. assistantships, scholarships, and internships
5. survival tips for graduate students.

The dean’s office in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences also keeps up-to-date career literature for students in each academic discipline.
