Oct. 31

   Out at firing range to qualify with weapons.

   Out at Fieldhouse dispersing crowd.

   Traffic stops X8 for failure to stop.

Nov. 1

   Out to issue citations around the campus.  Monitor traffic on campus.  Back out issuing citations.

   Receive call from student at 10-81 needing to talk with an officer.  Take T.O.P. report (see incident report).  Go check door in Bankston Hall for signs of forced entry.

   Drop off citations at Monticello P.D.  Go talk with court clerk about a couple of coming cases.

   Out to talk with parole officers at 10-81. Out at Bankston Hall, arrest subject on parole violation warrant (see incident report).  Still out at Bankston to issue citation for possession of controlled substance.

Nov. 2

   Working on traffic and parking lots.  Booted one vehicle at Bankston Hall.  Out at Bankston Hall later to remove boot.

   Out at office to work incident report.  Out with parent and student at Bankston to work T.O.P. report.

   Call from staff in field on east side of campus.  Someone locked him behind the gate on 425 South.  Went to open the gate and let him out.

   Call from student who was on his way to Little Rock.  He told me that he ran his car on some blocks next to Jeter Hall and wanted me to know.  He told me that he would get his car off in the morning.  I went to Jeter and found the car on top of two large yellow blocks between Jeter and the Warehouse.  The car was partly blocking the road.  Called a wrecker to have it removed from roadway.  Wrecker arrived and removed vehicle.

   A call of a snake in the A University Apartments.  Turned out to be a large rattlesnake that was already dead.  Removed the snake from the area.

   Observed a female walking toward Bankston.  She said she was meeting a Bankston resident there.  Checked her identification card and asked that she wait around the pond area for the male subject.  Checked a couple more students while on patrol.

   A fire alarm was reported at Horsfall Hall.  A smoke detector in the second-floor corridor was found faulty.  Called the on-duty boiler tech twice with no answer.  Did not reset the alarm.  Will try and get someone to repair the faulty detector later today.

  

Nov. 3

   Call from another officer for assistance at Harris Hall.  The other officer had the female subject out of the car and asked for a PBT.  Tested the subject with PBT and field sobriety and determined that she was driving while intoxicated.  Subject was taken to CDF for BAC test where she blew a .276, three times above the legal limit.  DWI limit is .08.  She was given citation for DWI 3 and booked.

   Release the vehicle that was involved in the earlier DWI arrest to the daughter.

   Traffic stop for speeding.

   Out with a group at Maxwell Hall.  Checked IDs and asked them to disperse.  All complied.

   While patrolling, made a traffic stop over by the Agriculture Building.  Issued UAM citation for failure to stop at the four way.

Nov. 6

   Patrol campus.  Go issue citations around the campus.  Out at 10-81 to talk with students about tickets.

   Monitor traffic and issue more citations.

   Go boost off vehicle at Maxwell Hall.  Go unlock vehicle at Royer Hall.

   Assisted in a traffic stop.  Student ran the stop sign at the Agriculture Building.
