SEARCY --- The University of Arkansas at Monticello's Cotton Blossoms (11-17, 2-8 GSC) were swept by the Harding Lady Bisons, dropping a 3-0 decision Thursday at Rhodes Field House in Searcy.

    After winning the opening game 30-14, Harding picked up 30-17 and 30-21 wins to clinch the sweep.

    Senior Kameshia Melton (Grapevine, Texas) and sophomore Nicole Ferguson (Brentwood, Tenn.) both posted 10 kills in the loss. Junior Maegan Martin (Burnet, Texas) led UAM with 29 assists, while freshman Stephanie Hatten (Baytown, Texas) tallied 10 digs.

    The Blossoms returned to action Friday, Oct. 26 where they hosted Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras on the opening day of the UAM Classsic.
