Linna Jones Art and Entertainment Editor The Student Government Association and Student Activity Board held a meeting to discuss issues on campus in the John F. Gibson University Center Caucus Room Oct. 9.
The
SGA and SAB discussed moving the movie inside Tuesday, Oct. 9 due to the ground being
wet. They also talked about relocating Friday’s movie in case of bad
weather; the members gave the final call to
Lindsey
Kight if bad weather occurred.
SGA President Landon Grimes, senior, informed the board on the fireworks, saying he didn’t receive an answer back. The SGA and SAB discussed having fireworks at the end of the homecoming game at the SGA and SAB meeting Sept. 11. The members discussed suggestions about having T-shirts for the last game this year. The board discussed keeping the same logo on the back and keeping the front simple by not having individual group names because of time constraints. The motion passed to have the T-shirts. SGA discussed money requested for campus organizations including Omega Psi Phi to bring a comedian to campus and the Creative Society for the upcoming Mocha Madness. The group also discussed funding for Student 2 Student to have a drawing for T-shirts for Alcohol Awareness Week.
