Sports Information Director The University of Arkansas at Monticello's Cotton Blossoms (7-12, 0-4) dropped a 3-0 decision to the Harding Lady Bisons (14-6, 4-0) at Steelman Fieldhouse Tuesday night. After dropping the opening match 30-23, the Cotton Blossoms staged a furious rally in game two, but ultimately fell short 34-32 before the Lady Bisons took the third game 30-22. Sophomore Nicole Ferguson (Brentwood, Tenn.) led UAM with 11 kills and a .346 hitting percentage, while senior Kameshia Melton (Grapevine, Texas) had 10 kills. Freshman Vikki Crisco (Saginaw, Texas) dished out 35 assists and had a match-high 21 digs. Ferguson and junior Maegan Martin (Burnet, Texas) had 12 digs apiece, while junior MacKenzie Willis (Andrews, Texas) had 10 digs.

Blossoms will return to action Thursday as
the team travel to Arkansas Tech for a Gulf
South Conference match scheduled at 7 p.m.
