James Statler The University family expresses sympathy to the family of James Statler in his passing. Statler was the president of Great Rivers Technical Institute, now the University of Arkansas-Monticelo College of Technology-McGehee. A celebration of life for Statler will take place at the First Baptist Church in McGehee Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. A memorial gift will be made on behalf of the faculty, staff and students. Glenn Turpin The University family expresses sympathy to Peggie Orrell, director of Health Occupations at the University of Arkansas-Monticello College of Technology-McGehee, in the passing of her father Glenn Turpin Saturday. Visitation took place Monday, Nov. 12 at the Roller Funeral Home in West Memphis and Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg. The funeral will followed at 2 p.m. at the church.
