Museum of Discovery
The Museum of Discovery’s First Free Friday program will end in 2007. Beginning Jan. 13, visit the Museum from 1-5 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month and receive free admission for the entire family as part of the Museum’s new Second Sunday program. Second Sunday will replace the popular First Free Friday. Second Sunday will allow families and individuals to experience the hands-on, interactive exhibits at the Museum free of charge. “Our experience indicates that Sunday afternoon is the most popular time of the week for an intergenerational family outing, and the Museum of Discovery offers an educational experience for the whole family,” said Nan Selz, executive director of the Museum of Discovery.
