The Music Theatre Workshop at the University of Arkansas at Monticello presents “An Evening of Gilbert and Sullivan” Nov. 10-11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. 

   The performance will include excerpts from “The Mikado” and “The Pirates of Penzance” as well as a fully staged production of “Trial by Jury.” Cast members include Brent Miller, post-baccalaureate music student from Warren; David Vaughn, first-year music major from Monticello; Amanda Kilcrease, senior speech major from Crossett; Rayburn Ezell, senior music major from Redfield; Jason Bowen, sophomore music major from Lonoke and John Gladden, senior music major from Monticello. 

   Kent Skinner, director of choral activities, will conduct the performances, with piano accompaniment by Paul Becker.
