Sports Information DirectorBIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- Led by a 40th place finish by Rebecca Smith, the
University of Arkansas at Monticello Cotton Blossoms turned in a 13th
place finish at the Gulf South Conference Cross Country Championships on
Saturday in Birmingham.
Smith finished the 5k race in 21:01, just over three minutes off the pace
set by individual winner Janee Jones of Harding.
