No Hunting on University Property

Bobby Webb
University Forest Manager

It's nearly that time again ... hunting season in Arkansas.

As a friendly reminder, ALL of the University of Arkansas-Monticello University Forest Land is closed to all forms of hunting. This specifically includes: archery hunting, muzzleloader hunting and all types of modern firearm hunting for deer and any other type of wildlife that may inhabit any part of the UAM University Forest.

This specifically includes all of the UAM University Forest around the campus as well as the old POW Camp section of the University Forest. All of the UAM University Forest is legally posted with appropriate signs and/or purple posting paint.

You can find season dates and regulations at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Web site.

If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact me at webbb@uamont.edu. .
