FLORENCE, ALABAMA. -- The University of Arkansas - Monticello Boll Weevils (1-6, 1-3 GSC) were unable to stop the third-ranked North Alabama Lions’ offensive juggernaut, as the Lions rolled to a 47-7 victory over the Weevils on Saturday at Braly Municipal Stadium.
UNA’s Eric Packer opened scoring with a 46-yard touchdown reception
with 11:14 remaining in the opening quarter, and the Lions would

before the intermission.

lead to 47-0 on a 22-yard field goal by Scott Shurden with 2:19
remaining in the third.
The Boll Weevils were able to avoid the shutout in the fourth
quarter, when Lafayette Fredrick (Fr., Hot Springs) connected with Jamie
Dunn (sophomore, Wilmot, Ark.) on a nine-yard touchdown strike with 2:38 remaining
in the contest.
Fredrick completed seven of 15 passes for 129 yards, while Matt
Fryfogle (senior, Lucedale, Miss.) led the Weevils on the ground with 14
carries for 52 yards. Germaine Webster (freshman, Harvey, La.) led UAM
defensively with seven tackles.
UNA rolled up 468 yards of total offense to UAM’s 273.
