Media Services Twelve students have been selected by a vote of the student body for the 2006 Homecoming Court at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. The Homecoming Queen will be announced during pre-game ceremonies at 2:30 p.m. at Convoy Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium prior to UAM’s football game with the University of West Alabama Oct. 28. Members of the court are: ˇ Christean Bell of Monticello, Ark., a junior social work major and the daughter of Everlina Handley; ˇ Vicky Brown of Hamburg, Ark., a senior psychology major and the daughter of Victoria Brown; ˇ Karen Dodd of Crossett, Ark., a senior mathematics major and the daughter of Danny and Vicki Dodd; ˇ LaTish Edwards of Nashville, Ark., a senior early childhood education major and the daughter of Marvin and Sheila Edwards; ˇ Adelia Hill of Cherry Valley, Ark., a sophomore pre-med major and the daughter of the Reverend Donell and Mildred Hill; ˇ Amy Hoang of Monticello, Ark., a sophomore biology major and the daughter of Long and Sen Hoang; ˇ Ana Marie Hunt of Foreman, Ark., a senior natural science major and the daughter of Barbara Williams and David Hunt; ˇ Janay Kolen of Warren, Ark., a sophomore music education major and the daughter of Charles and Barbara Kolen; ˇ Brittany Mathews of Monticello, Ark., a freshman biology major and the daughter of Gwaine and Angel Mathews; ˇ Aissa Roflo of Monticello, Ark., a senior biology and pre-med major and the daughter of Leonides and Melba Roflo; ˇ Special Sanders of McGehee, Ark., a senior political science major and the daughter of Lula Carter and James Sanders, Sr.; and ˇ Brittany Washington of Monticello, Ark., a junior business finance and marketing major and the daughter of Antwone and Nancy Bowman.
In
addition to the 12 students elected by the student body, the members of
the UAM football team have named Feonda DeVall of Bastrop, La., football
sweetheart. DeVall is a senior criminal justice major and the daughter
of the late John Brown and the late Lillie DeVall.
