If you're a fan of the sound created by The Beatles, then you'll love this new up and coming duo, Chester French. Chester French is comprised of two seniors from Harvard University - Maxwell Drummey and D.A. Wallach. The nerdy, preppy duo have been making music together for over three years and are now poised to take a ride on the road to stardom. Their sound is retro but very current. They're revitalizing a sound of a decade that brought some of the greatest music ever made. If you close your eyes while listening to their music, you can actually visualize them performing on "The Ed Sullivan Show." Not to be subjugated to just making pop music, Chester French also throws their hands into the Hip Hop arena. On their MySpace page, you will find a remix of Jay-Z's "Excuse Me Miss" and Slim Thug's "I Ain't Heard of That." One could argue that their interpretations are better than the originals. Oftentimes, this genre of music is lost upon me. Yet after listening to these guys, they are easily becoming my guilty pleasure.
