Pre-registration for the summer I, summer II and fall terms will begin Monday, April 2 and continue through Friday, April 13. By pre-registering, currently enrolled students get first choice on courses and time slots.
Students should make an appointment with their academic adviser to plan for the upcoming terms. If a student does not know who their adviser is, they can visit Campus Connect, click on Student Information and select Demographic Data. To access Campus Connect, the student will need their student identification number and a pin number. Pin numbers can be obtained by clicking on the link under “Help! What’s My Pin?” from the Campus Connect page.
By typing in the last name of the professor in the Faculty and Staff Directory, students can find out their adviser’s office, phone number and e-mail address. Students can also contact Academic Affairs at 870-460-1033 or the Registrar’s Office at 870-460-1034 to obtain their adviser’s information.
Students can view the complete course schedules for the summer I, summer II and fall terms by going to http://www.uamont.edu/Schedules/allunits06.htm. Further information for pre-registration instructions can be accessed at Pre-Registration Instructions Summer and Fall 2007.
Online Pre-registration is available for graduate students and undergraduate students who have completed more than 60 hours, have at least a 2.50 cumulative grade point average and are not on conditional academic standing. However, students who are eligible for online pre-registration should still meet with their adviser before registering.
Online pre-registration is available 24 hours a day beginning at 9 a.m., April 2 and ending at 4 p.m., April 13. Students can access the online pre-registration through Campus Connect by clicking on Registration and choosing Add/Drop Courses.
To access the course lists, select the term and the desired department and click the List Courses button. To add a class, click the Add button; added classes appear in the upper part of the screen. Students can access different academic units by choosing “Select a Different Term Code of Department.” Once all courses have been chosen, select View Schedule from the Registration drop-down menu to make sure everything is correct.
Academic advisers have the discretion to add or remove online pre-registration access for any of their advisees. Students not eligible for online pre-registration will have their classes entered by their adviser. Students can obtain a copy of their course schedule and estimated bill by going to the computer located on the first floor Harris Hall.
