UAM College of Technology - McGehee Holds Annual College of Technology Day

   The University of Arkansas - Monticello College of Technology at McGehee hosted its annual College of Technology Day Friday, March 2.   

   The theme for the 28th year of competition for seniors from area schools was “Write Your Own Script for the Future.”  The starring attractions included competitions in the following areas: Communications, Automotive Technology, Welding Technology, Agriculture Technology, Keyboarding Applications/Word Processing, Business Math, Payroll Accounting, Early Childhood Education, Electronic Spreadsheet/Excel and Health Occupations.   

   The Oscar winners of each category received a full-tuition scholarship to UAM College of Technology-McGehee. Schools that participated were McGehee High School, Dermott High School, SEACBEC in Warren, Monticello Occupational Education Center (OEC), Drew Central and Lakeside High School in Lake Village.
