Campus Housing to Hold Fall Sign-up

It’s that time of the year again and students living on campus will begin signing up to return for the fall 2007 semester. With an advantage over fall’s incoming freshman rush, current residents can reclaim their room, make roommate or meal plan changes or even request a private room for the fall, as long as they sign up the week before Spring Break.

The Residence Life office has been receiving applications from incoming freshman since Thanksgiving. These future students are waiting to be assigned to any rooms not claimed by current residents during Fall Sign-up.

Royer, Bankston, Maxwell and Horsfall Halls will conduct specific in-hall sign-up times for returning students to reserve their room for next semester. Along with the opportunity to make changes, residents can also sign up for a drawing for several door prizes that will take place after Spring Break.

The University Apartment residents will also sign up to reserve their apartment for both of the summer terms, as well as fall. They will be required to individually visit the Residence Life office in Harris Hall to sign a housing application and a new lease the week before Spring Break. Residents MUST sign up to keep their apartment. A drawing will also be held for the Apartments for several great prizes.

Look for flyers posted in your residence hall and reminder emails. Don’t lose your room or apartment. Sign up the week before Spring Break.

You may call the Residence Life Office at 460-1245 or stop by anytime at Harris Hall 213 for more information or assistance.
