"Movie Makers" entertained students Feb. 5 - 6 courtesy of the Student Activities Board. Students received the opportunity to make a video to music with costumes and props.
"Movie Makers" updates the frequently used Film Flicks that they have used in the past. It placed a new spin on an already successful program. Students watched and made videos until 9 p.m. Feb. 5 and all afternoon Feb. 6 for a total of 12 hours at the college.
“I think they had a blast,” Kight said. “There was always someone out there making a video, trying on costumes or picking a song.”
Douglas Mote, a sophomore computer information systems major, participated by singing “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy” by Big and Rich. Mote used a pair of sunglasses, a cowboy hat and an electric guitar, but the sunglasses fell off in the beginning of the video.
