   The University of Arkansas at Monticello will host Weevil Welcome Days for high school seniors and their parents Friday, Feb. 9 and Monday, Feb. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the Fine Arts Center, according to Mary Whiting, director of admissions. 

   UAM admissions representatives will provide information on how to be admitted to the university, availability of scholarships and financial aid, how to select an academic major and student activities. Representatives from the UAM Colleges of Technology at Crossett and McGehee will be on hand to discuss technical programs on their respective campuses. Students and their parents will also be given tours of the campus and residence halls. 

   Students and/or parents planning to attend should contact the Office of Admissions at (800) 844-1826 no later than Feb. 5.
