   Jennifer Hudson snagged a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Effie White in the much-talked-about musical “Dream Girls.” Hudson, an “American Idol” reject told by Simon Cowell (“American Idol” judge) that she was “out of her league,” shot to stardom and can now have the last laugh. The Golden Globes are often an indicator of who will win an Academy Award; maybe an Oscar is in the horizon for Hudson.

    “Greys Anatomy” star Isaiah Washington came under fire recently after calling fellow cast mate T.R. Knight a faggot. A petition began circulating around the Internet after the incident, calling for the firing of Washington. No decision has been made yet.
