Courtesy of Media Services The University of Arkansas at Monticello’s concert choir will present their fall concert Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m., in the Wood Avenue Presbyterian Church in Monticello as part of the church’s 100th anniversary celebration. Under the direction of Kent Skinner, director of choral activities, the choir will perform the works of Haydn, Handel and Bruckner as well as a selection of folk hymns and spirituals, including “At the River” and “Ain’t Got Time to Die.” The programs’ featured work will be “Cantique de Jean Racine” by Gabriel Faure. Paul Becker of the UAM music faculty will provide piano accompaniment.
