The Library Celebrates 50 Years as a Federal Depository

Come by the library and see our new exhibit featuring government documents and pick up a handy folder with brochures on how to make the most of the freely available government information provided by the library!

The Fred J. Taylor Library has been a selective depository for U. S. Government Documents since 1956 and Arkansas State Documents since 1980. As a selective Federal Depository Library, we receive many publications issued by agencies of the U.S. Government.

These publications, which may include books, maps, posters, pamphlets and periodicals, contain information on careers, business opportunities, space exploration, health and nutrition, energy and many other subjects.  Read more about the library’s government documents at http://www.uamont.edu/library/newsite/serv/govdoc.html.

New Books in Special Collections

Below is a listing of new arrivals in special collections.  Special collections includes materials about Arkansas history and the history of UAM.  Located on the second floor of the library, special collections hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Closed on posted holidays.
