Brown Elected Vice President of SACSA

   Clay Brown, vice chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, has been elected vice president of the Southern Association of College Student Affairs.

   SACSA is a professional organization comprised of college and university student affairs professionals from 11 southern states ranging from Maryland to Texas.

     Brown joined the UAM staff in 2001 as dean of students and assistant vice chancellor for Student Affairs. He holds a bachelor's degree in public relations and speech communications from Auburn University, a master's of education degree in counselor education and student personnel from Mississippi State, and a doctorate in higher education administration and leadership studies from the University of Tennessee.
