Bradly Gill Arts & Entertainment Editor Apple debuts video iPod Apple Computer on Wednesday unveiled its long-rumored video iPod, as well as a new iMac and an updated version of iTunes that lets users buy music videos, TV shows and movies. The new iPods retail for around $300 for a 30gb version. Take that Bill Gates. Well, at least until the X-Box 360 comes out. China set to take over space. China launched its second manned space probe, the Shenzhou VI. The rocket will orbit the earth for five days while the astronauts conduct experiments. China is only the third country to have launched a person in to space, the other two being the United States and Russia. It is good to see that at least one country is still interested in space travel. After all, when people overcrowd the earth, where are we going to go then? Blond, James Blond Rumors are abound that actor Daniel Craig is set to be the new James Bond. What sets this actor apart from other Bonds in the past is his dirty blond hair. Craig will be the second Englishman to play Bond, besides Roger Moore. I don't see him getting the role, but then again I didn't see Pierce Brosnon as Bond either. Rocky VI: Does anyone still remember this franchise Tough guy Sylvester Stallone is set to direct and star in the next "Rocky" movie, which features the punch-drunk fighter coming out of retirement and fighting a few fights, only to have an astounding career comeback and fight the champ, AGAIN! I personally would have rather seen a new "Rambo." Album of the Week Tool – "Aenima"
Perhaps the masterpiece of a band that has continuously rocked
since it's debut. "Aenima" is the album that turned most people on to the
vocal stylings of one Maynard James Keenan. With such interesting track
titles as "Hooker with a Penis" and "Stinkfist," don't let your kids or
Tipper Gore listen to this one. Grade: A+ Have a comment? Please e-mail us. © The Voice 2005 Revised 09/17/2007 02:16:20 PM— http://www.uamont.edu/organizations/thevoice/3_6/buzz.htm |
