Staff Writer The school of Social and Behavioral
Sciences welcomes DeWayne Bonner as an IV-E Field Instructor. Tammy S. Vaughn, University of Arkansas at Monticello academic partnership coordinator, said Bonner's bachelor's degree and experience with the division of Children and Family Services met the criteria to be selected for the position of academic partnership research assistant. His knowledge and experience with child welfare will help him perform the duties of a mentor/field instructor. "I have found that Mr. Bonner is a conscientious and dependable employee," Vaughn said. "He possesses creative skills exhibited in his mentoring of new DCFS Worker Trainees and in leading support groups."
Bonner is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He belongs to the chapter of Kappa Iota at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Ark. He also acts as adviser to the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and the campus chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Have a comment?
