Space Marines ... yes, Space Marines
The Air Force Research Laboratory is currently working on an upper-stage space travel vehicle. Officials say this technology would allow
Marines to travel anywhere globally with two hours. Now they just have to
worry about those Aliens from the James Cameron film.
Get out your "Star Wars" Fanfiction: Lucas is a’lookin for ya
According to IGNfilm.com,
"Star Wars" franchise creator George Lucas is looking for writers for a television show based on the
universe. I think he would make a killing from the Jar Jar Binks Goodtime
Comedy hour.
Gas is high. Poor understanding of economics to blame.
Gas could be as high as $4 a gallon, according to a
spokesman for AAA, and it’s all the consumers fault. "If consumers panic
buy, it will reduce the amount of supply, and the demand will increase and
prices will go up. We will be our own worst enemy," Stuart Hodes said.
It’s supply and demand, people.
Emmys, Emmys Blah Blah Blah
The Emmys occurred last Sunday; I opted to watch Fox instead.
Apparently, people still love Ray Ramano. Also, the ABC series "Lost" won
big. Just think, it’s a whole year until people get to give their
worthless opinions again.
Read of the Week
"The Prince" by Niccolla Machiavelli. Without a doubt, the best book on politics and power ever written.
If you want to get a start in politics or just get a better understanding
of the nature of power, this is the book to read. Denounced by some as being amoral and evil, Machiavelli is simply
a realist. Read this and you’ll never look at government the same way.
