Rockefeller Lecture Happens Thursday

   New Yorker senior investigative reporter and Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh will give two talks at the University of Arkansas at Monticello this Thursday, March 9.

   At 3 p.m., Hersh will meet with students and others interested in hearing about his life as a writer and journalist in the Memorial Classroom Building Auditorium. A questions and answer session follows, moderated by Robert Moore, professor of English and chair of the UAM Rockefeller Distinguished Lectures Committee.

   At 7:30 p.m., Hersh will deliver the 2006 Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium. The title of his talk is "The Road From 9/11 to Abu Ghraib."

   His lecture will be followed by a questions and answer session, book signing and public reception in Spencer Gallery of the Fine Arts Center.

   All of these events are free and open to the public.
