Managing Editor If you hang around the University of Arkansas at Monticello long enough, you are bound to hear students complain about something. Complaining about the school is as popular as chatting with friends on Facebook. Yet, many of these same students don’t take part in one of the most important organizations they can participate in: the Student Government Association. At a recent meeting, only three people were present - SGA president Michael Cravens, treasurer Esbeida Arce and secretary Jordan Gibson. Even at its highest attendance, the SGA officers say they only had around 10 students present. “We have trouble spreading the word. Ever since this semester (started), it’s been tough,” Gibson said. The SGA plans to hold elections in late March or early April. They are currently seeking student volunteers for an election committee which will actually carry out the voting. They only ask that volunteers not run in the elections. They also are putting the issue of changing the body's constitution up for a vote. All UAM students will be allowed to vote. Gibson also
offered a solution to the constant complaints of the
student body.
