"Soon to be a major motion picture."

Bloodlust II: Cheney's Revenge.

Vice-President Dick Cheney shot a man in the face with a shotgun. (Somehow, I always knew I'd end up typing that sentence.) The 78-year-old man survived, and all reports point to it being a hunting accident. It was later discovered that Cheney and his friend were hunting without the required bird stamp. Luckily, Cheney did have his really old white guy stamp.

Religious fervor attacks delicious pastries

The sweet and chewy cake known as the Danish has a new name in Iran. Now known as "Roses of Mohammad," the treat can now be sold without causing riots and mass violence. This protesting has officially gone too far. They were just poorly drawn cartoons. This is as stupid as freedom fries.

This is for all the cowboys that love Willie.

The legendary singer and songwriter Willie Nelson released a song titled "Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly ( Fond of Each Other)." The song, available through iTunes, was written well before the "Brokeback Mountain" craze by songwriter Ned Sublette in 1981. Oddly enough, Nelson also has a song on the "Brokeback Mountain" soundtrack.

Hungry Hungry Hussein's

Former dictator and all around crazy bastard Saddam Hussein furthered his courtroom antics by staging a hunger strike. Since his trial started, Saddam has frequently yelled and caused disturbances. Personally, I hope he starves to death, then he can get a taste of what the Iraqi people went through under his regime.

Rent of the Week:
"A Mighty Wind" (PG-13).
Written by Christopher Guest and Eugene Levy.
Directed by Christopher Guest.

For everyone who thinks a mock-umentary about folk singing can't be funny, this movie will prove you wrong. The same people who brought you "Best in Show" and "Waiting for Guffman" deliver again in this comedy that features witches, folk singing, cross dressing and a concert broadcast on public television.

Grade: A
