    University of Arkansas at Monticello Head Football Coach Gwaine Mathews hosted a signing day reception Wednesday, Feb. 1 at Western Sizzlin in Monticello.

   Mathews and his staff discussed the signing of  student-athletes to national letters of intent. Some of the currently-enrolled junior college signees met the public. In addition to the seven junior college recruits signed Dec. 21, five junior college recruits and one Division I transfer will be expected to immediately compete for playing time.
