Miss Diamond Lakes Pageant ARKADELPHIA - Qualified students in both public and private colleges and universities in the state of Arkansas are invited to compete for scholarship funds by participating in the 31st annual Miss Diamond Lakes Pageant, an official Miss Arkansas Pageant preliminary event, to be held Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Jones Performing Arts Center on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. The Miss Diamond Lakes Pageant is an open preliminary allowing any qualified person from across the state to compete. The new Miss Diamond Lakes winner, in addition to winning scholarship funds and other prizes, will represent the pageant at the annual Miss Arkansas Pageant to be held in June at Summit Arena in the Hot Springs Civic and Convention Center. Contestants will compete in private interview, casual wear, evening wear, swimsuit and talent. Interviews will be conducted Friday evening, Feb. 3. In addition to the miss portion of the Diamond Lakes pageant, qualified teens from across the state are invited to enter the 17th annual Miss Teen Diamond Lakes Pageant to be concurrently with the miss contest.
