Outside Hitter Earns All-GSC

BIRMINGHAM, AL --- University of Arkansas at Monticello outside hitter Amanda Sayre (Jr., Del City, Okla./Redlands CC) has been named to the All-Gulf South Conference Second Team for her play during the 2005 season.

   Sayre served as a co-captain on the inaugural Cotton Blossoms volleyball squad and finished the season fifth in the GSC in kills per game (4.33), while finishing second on the team in kills (206), hitting percentage (.187) and digs (359), and third in service aces (26) and blocks (40).
   Sayre is currently a nominee for AVCA and Daktronics All-Region honors.
