The children of the late Bub and Beulah Pinkus have made a $25,000 gift to the University of Arkansas at Monticello Foundation Fund to create an endowed scholarship in their parents’ honor.

The gift was announced last week by Chancellor Jack Lassiter, who used the occasion to present the first Bub and Beulah Pinkus Endowed Scholarship to Katrina Fore, a senior business administration major from Monticello.

Scholarships generated by the endowment will be presented annually to students enrolled in the UAM School of Business based on academic performance.

“I would like to thank the Pinkus family for this generation donation,” said Lassiter. “This is a wonderful way for them to honor their parents and at the same time create lasting educational opportunities for deserving students.”
