Students can relax at Dad's Place

   Students looking for a new place to hang out can now enjoy Monticello’s only gourmet coffee house, Dad’s Place located at 123 Carla Lane – Suite A.

   Customers can enjoy espressos, mochas and cappuccinos Monday - Friday 7 a.m. till 9 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. till 5 p.m.. Dad’s Place also offers other drinks such as shakes, steamers, hot chocolate and Mudslides. They also have muffins, ice cream and packaged snacks for those who need just a little bite of something with their coffee.

   Owners Jim and Denise Whaley invite you to stop by and take advantage of the Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) available for laptops with high speed Internet.  It is a friendly and warm atmosphere for people of all ages. The shop has small tables and chairs but also sectional seating for those who need more comfortable seating.

   “Students will find a great place to relax, study or just hang out and have a great cup of coffee,” Jim Whaley said.

   Dad’s Place offers a complimentary card for customer’s to receive one free specialty drink after the purchase of nine cups.
