McGehee registers 21 by deadline

   People aged 18 to 74 turned out to register as the University of Arkansas at Monticello-College of Technology McGehee held its Fall Voter Registration Drive the week of Sept. 27.

   The 21 voters, who were registered by the Oct. 4 deadline, will be eligible to vote in the fall presidential election, as well as having a voice in the many state and local issues and races on the ballot. Counties with these newly registered voters include Arkansas, Ashley, Chicot, Cleveland, Desha and Drew.
