scrimmage games. The
Over 16 sorority and fraternity members as well as the cheerleaders and residence life staff helped throughout the day. Extra effort from the maintenance, grounds and custodial staff prepared the campus for the event. “This event could not have happened without two very special people, co-chairpersons Terri Richardson and Julie Gentry,” Lassiter said. Chancellor and Mrs. Lassiter once again sponsored the tailgate cookout and thanks to Aramark Food Services, parents enjoyed a meal before the game. Over 20 tents sat around the pond to tailgate along with the chancellor’s tent. “The entire committee did an outstanding job in the organization of this event and we welcome suggestions for next year’s event,” Gentry said.
