Cheerleaders chosen to staff camps

Elite staff -- (from left) Brad Sears, LaTish Edwards, Kellie Hoskins, Caswanna Allen and Emerald Huggins Jr. will serve on the Elite Cheerleading staff this summer

   Eight members of the University of Arkansas at Monticello cheerleading squad will work on the staffs of two different cheerleading camps this summer.

   Caswanna Allen, a first-year student from Monticello; LaTish Edwards, a junior from Nashville; Kellie Hoskins, a junior from Helena; Emerald Huggins Jr., a first-year student from Grady; and Brad Sears, a sophomore from DesArc, will work on the staff of Elite Cheerleading, the nation’s oldest and largest private cheerleader camp organization.

UCA staff -- Beth Burgess, Trey Harrod and Courtney Levingston will work with Universal Cheerleading.
   Beth Burgess, a senior from Pine Bluff; Trey Harrod, a sophomore from Hampton; and Courtney Levingston, a freshman from El Dorado will work on the staff of the Universal Cheerleading Association, a 30-year-old Memphis-based company which holds over 1,100 camps each summer and trains over 200,000 cheerleaders annually. UCA sponsors the National High School Cheerleading and Dance Team Championships as well as the College National Championship at Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
