The Pi Psi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha hosted the Annual Spring Greek Show on Saturday, April 9.

The show included sororities from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Omega Psi Phi from UAM took first place in the fraternity division and Zeta Phi Beta from UAPB took first in the sorority division.

"The turn-out for the event wasn’t as anticipated but as a whole the event was good," said Garren Rockwell, president of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.

The event was held at the Drew County Gym because the organization has been having a difficult time getting buildings on campus on the weekend.  The organization held a barbeque on Friday before the show and a party after the show.

"All the activities went great," Rockwell said.

Alpha Phi Alpha's Step Team plans to participant in a Greek show hosted by Phi Beta Sigma of Henderson State University April 30. The prize for first is $1,500. The organization will also have its informal interest meeting April 26 in the Fred J. Taylor Library and Technology Center conference room.
